Magna 5 is a $1 Pick Five wager on five races at selected tracks on Saturdays. Wager begins at Laurel Park. If nobody picks all five winners, a portion of the pool carries over to the following Saturday's pool
Place Pick 9 at Hawthorne
Select either the winner or runner-up in nine consecutive races. If no one hits, 25% is paid out and 75% carries over. Usually begins with the day's first race. Minimum wager: $1.
NYRA's Grand Slam
In the first three legs of the Grand Slam, you're still in the game if your picks finish first, second, or third. Then if you pick the winner of the fourth leg, you win the wager. $1 minimum bet, lots of ways to win. The Grand Slam begins on race 5 during a 9-race NYRA card and on race 6 during a 10-race card.
